Disney Is Making A Live-Action Mulan, Get The Details


Disney have decided to follow-up the rousing success of Cinderella earlier this month with yet another live-action re-telling of one of one of the company’s beloved animated films. It’s been officially announced that they've decided to give Mulan the updated big screen treatment. 

FOX Renews New Girl for a Fifth Season

FOX has picked up the comedy series “New Girl” for a fifth season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.
“Four seasons in, ‘New Girl’ continues to be one of the smartest and most relatable comedies on television,” said Madden. “The writing is razor-sharp, the ensemble is consistently hilarious, and we couldn’t be more proud of Liz, Brett, Dave and the entire ‘New Girl’ team. We absolutely love this show and we’re so excited to bring it back for Season Five.”

Deadline reports that writer Jay Basu, who is helping Universal with their monster-focused cinematic universe, has been tapped by Sony Pictures to write their adaptation of Metal Gear Solid.

Brianna Hildebrand Joins Deadpool as Negasonic Teenage Warhead

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the cast of Deadpool has added another mutant to the cards with newcomer actress Brianna Hildebrand as Ellie Phimister, AKA Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly, and named after a song by the band Monster Magnet, Negasonic Teenage Warhead was a protege of Emma Frost who is a telepath with vast precognitive abilities.

J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy New Trailer


HBO has revealed the new trailer for the HBO Miniseries/BBC adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s global bestseller “The Casual Vacancy.” Parts one and two of “The Casual Vacancy” are scheduled to debut back-to-back Wednesday, April 29 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), followed by the debut of part three the next night, Thursday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Hugh Jackman One Last Time as Wolverine

Despite saying a month ago that he wants to continue playing the character until he dies, Hugh Jackman revealed a cryptic teaser on his Instagram today with the caption “Wolverine… One Last Time” with three of his signature claws extended.
